Davidson County Line is a 3 piece “Rockabilly” band that performs in Central Maine. Formed in 2015, Davidson County Line began focusing their music on the songs from the 50’s and 60’s. The band now also performs Blues, Rock, Country and does outstanding impersonations of Johnny Cash and June Carter.
Members include “legendary” guitarist and 2005 International Rockabilly Hall of Fame Inductee Addison “Eddie” Jones. Eddie began playing violin, mandolin, and banjo at age 6. Eddie was the Grand Ole Opry’s youngest mandolin player. Growing up in Nashville, Tennessee he has been performing professionally for more than 40 years with a number of different artists. Eddie also did studio work in Nashville and is considered a guitar slinger.
Rebecca Sanchez grew up with music in her life. Her father played guitar, piano, and trumpet, and toured with a Canadian gospel group Echoes of Calvary. Their house was always filled with the sounds of Elvis, John Denver, and her mother’s favorites, the Statler Brothers. She has been playing bass for many years with Maine’s local musicians. She has also been a part of a yearly Country Gold Legends Show, which donates its proceeds to a local non-profit organization.
On drums is Pat Tibbetts. Pat was born and raised in Maine and started playing drums at the age of 10. Pat traveled to Dartmouth College and Berkley College of Music several times and after winning an award for his drumming talent, was offered the opportunity to further his musical education at Berkley College. Pat brings with him 40 years of experience with influences such as Neil Peart, Steve Gadd, Buddy Rich, Keith Moon, John Bonham and many more.
Tickets for the show are $10 at the door and are available on Brown Paper Tickets (https://davidsoncountyline.brownpapertickets.com). Readfield Union Meeting House is at 22 Church Road, Readfield, Maine 04355.
